Did You Hear about the Dip You Recall?

Archie Brown's stepmother had a hip replacement procedure done a few months ago, and she has been having some difficulty with pain and swelling. So Archie took notice when it was announced in August that there was a recall of 93,000 hip replacement units by the Depuy Orthopedic, a subsidiary of the Johnson & Johnson Corporation. He called his stepmother to find out if he knew what brand of unit had been placed in her hip, but she said she did not. Archie urged her to contact her doctor and find out.

A couple of weeks later Archie saw a commercial on television by Depuy recall attorney. It reminded him that he had not heard from his stepmother about her situation. So he called her again and found out that she had not yet gotten around to making the phone call to her doctor. Archie urged her very strenuously to make that call.
