Did You Hear About My Poetry 11?

The siblings' views just did not mix
and anger progressed till there was no fix.
Almost any topic seemed able to generate
high emotions; family, religion, or politics.
Everything brought bitterness they couldn't relegate
to the back burner. Their old age is now here
and the time of their departures comes near.
There is no reason to continue to propogate
the bitterness and keep the atmosphere
one in which there is no chance to conciliate.
