Did You Hear About My Poetry--21?

Archie Brown entered this in a poetry challenge, in which the rhyming words were provided by other participants:

"I Am Glad"

I am glad we don't have to carry gold,
it is much easier with money that'll fold.

I am glad we eat fruit like pomegranate,
it is much easier on the teeth than granite.

I am glad I am not a little ol' gazelle,
cause they can't write poetry very well.

I am glad I am married to my darling,
instead of some loud, sqawking starling.

I am glad I don't live in an iv'ry tower,
where it would be hard to smell a flower.

I am glad no one makes me eat raisins,
cause when I do, my bowel emblazens.

I am glad when I can watch fawns & does
in the early morning, where the creek flows.

I am glad to see a flock of sheep graze,
it makes me hope for more peaceful days!
