My Chinese friend Lily

I had a Chinese friend named Lily,
Who was lots fun, though seldom silly.
You might think she was too hard shell
but she had a heart that was never chilly.
The place she lived was not too hilly,
but there was plenty of people who'd sell
to any visitor that had even a penny.
When seeking a friend you couldn't find any
who were more clever, bright, really funny,
and ready to share with all of her many
students,even they whose whines were so tinny.
Lily was smooth and sweet, pure honey
